David and April - the owners and operators of North Georgia Water Jet and Woodworks

David & April

Our Story

We are a woman-owned and veteran-operated small manufacturing business that utilizes a high-pressure waterjet, CNC router, and woodworking tools, ready to create household decor, parts for machines, or whatever your needs may be.

Before David moved to Georgia, he ran his tool and die shop in Arkansas for over 20 years. When he moved to Georgia, David took a job that required 100% travel, a job that allowed him to see the world and experience new cultures. But priorities have a way of changing as we get older.

In 2020, David and I moved to the North Georgia mountains. The lure of home and our beautiful community has resulted in us taking this leap to start North Georgia Waterjet and Woodworks, LLC. Right now, David still works full-time and travels but as business increases he can segue into being home more.  David holds a Bacheor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arkansas State University.

And April's story…She served full-time on active duty with the Georgia Army National Guard. After 25 years of Army adventures, she retired and decided to try her hand at corporate America. She worked for 9 years as a Human Resources Manager for a couple of manufacturing companies in metro Atlanta. In 2021 she decided to join David in the mountains and take care of their property.  April has a BBA in Management from the University of North Georgia and an MBA in Human Resources Management from Northcentral University.

So we have decided to make a go of the business, as a two-person team, working to create the American dream.

Our business is based on the premise of doing the job right and on time. We take pride in our work and will provide you the same experience we would expect.
